I’m trying to keep a straight face, but inside, I’m cracking up. I mean, who tries to show off on a bike in Thiene? It’s not exactly a cycling paradise. Anyway, I get to work, and as I’m cutting, I’m thinking about how this city is full of surprises. Like, just last week, I was at the Mercato di Thiene, and I swear I saw a guy selling gelato out of a van that looked like it was from the ‘80s.
