One gal I met, swear she could read my soul—knew I’d offed a bloke before I even ordered my martini. Spooky, but damn, respect.

First off, I hit up the local café on Leatherhead Road. You know, the one with the weirdly named pastries? I ordered a “Choco Delight” or whatever. It was like biting into a cloud of sugar.
