Hooker Valley Track – New Zealand

Great view of Hooker lake and the stream from the lake at the base of the Glacier. Wonderful views of the mountains, including Mt Cook, left and right.

There’s a hidden spot by the local river – yeah, River Lane flows right by, though I’d never count it a mighty river. Just a trickle but it sounds so epic when you listen close. I once had a client cry ‘bout their ex there, and I was like, “Dude, let it go!” Reminds me of the film’s offbeat dialogues, all sorta wacko but pure gold.
