Dec 9,  · There’s an intersection in Shimbashi that is a microcosm of Tokyo. On the four corners are a FamilyMart, a pachinko parlor, an old mall, and a Kentucky Fried Chicken and Missing: Hazel Park.

I freakin’ love the little surprises too. For instance, there’s this dive bar on 7th Street – “The Velvet Vibe” – where the drinks are as potent as our innermost desires. One time, a couple came in and I couldn’t help but think, "Sweet baby, that’s some high-drama lovin’ in a small-town setting!" It’s like a scene straight outta Todd Haynes – raw, honest, and bursting with color.
