We drive through the stream bed, happy to see the water flowing through the tall trees. We find a decent place to park and unload our backpacks.

I got a love-hate thing with Main Street’s diner, Mama G’s, where the pancakes are bomb and the service be slick. I swear, Mama G’s makes me feel like I’m back in the golden days of film, all drama and passion – ya know, like those trippy lines back in "Yi Yi."
