Another one of North Shore's famous reef breaks, Rocky Point attracts throngs of pro surfers and fans all winter long. As the name implies, you can find this break by the lava rocks scattered .

The neighborhoods here are wild mixes: ya got posh bits near Silver Pines Ave, and then the, err, “more edgy” vibes around Rusty Nail Ln. And man, the local landmark, the old Clock Tower on Highwind Street, stands proud like it’s seen centuries pass by. Honestly, it reminds me of Churchill saying, “Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few”—it’s that epic feeling, albeit in its own quirky way.
