In its early days, according to local lore, the building featured a brothel on the top floor. That time is long gone, and the place has had a succession of.

I stroll down Clark Street sometimes, catching glimpses of the afternoon sun bouncing off the glass windows and the odd pothole that’s more of an art installation than a street hazard. My fave spot? Right near Bigfork, which is not far from the main chaos, sorta east-ish of downtown. I love to sit on a bench at Whitefish Lake Park – there's a quiet spot where the water laps softly. Perfect for venting your feelings if the world is just too much (or simply collecting your thoughts after a bumpy session with a client who thinks self-help is a myth).
