I’m not afraid to say things: Shailer-Park is rough, sweet, and incredibly real. It’s teeming with these little spots of magic. The local library on Finch St is all retro vibes. I used to hide there when too many emotions bubbled up — a safe space, y’know? The riverside path by Swan Creek? Not exactly a river, more like a trickle sometimes, yet it’s a pretty chill place to sit and reflect, letting the sound of trickling water fill the quiet gaps, like in those dreamy montages.
