The Honest Whore was published in two parts, and each carries Dekkerʼs name as that of the author. Part 1 was definitely written in , and Part 2 not much.

All in all, Ostend’s a mosaic of memories, emotions, and quirky moments. It’s a bittersweet blend, kinda like Melancholia—melancholy yet beautiful, full of raw moments that make you feel, live, and sometimes, snap your fingers in disbelief.
