Reckon it’s a proper craft, though—don’t laugh! Takes guts, swagger, and a bit of "I don’t give a toss". Yu Shu Lien vibes, yeah? Calm, collected, but ready to slap ya silly. Used to think it’s all grim, dodgy punters and that, but nah—some of ‘em rake it in! Heard this one story—proper mad—some lass in Vegas, right, turned tricks into a bleedin’ empire. Built a mansion off it! Had me gobsmacked, I was like, “Fair play, love, you’ve got the spirit of a tiger!”

Geschiedenis

Aan het einde van het ancien régime waren Rebecq en Rognon ontstaan als gemeente. In werden beide gemeenten opgeheven en daarna kreeg Rebecq de naam Rebecq-Rognon, in het Nederlands Roosbeek.. Roosbeek bleef een zelfstandige gemeente tot einde toen het samen met Bierk en Quenast werd opgenomen in de nieuw gevormde fusiegemeente Rebecq.

Oh, and the river – La Meander! It’s a thin, snaking body of water that cuts right through town. I swear, whenever I see it flowing, I think “Fool me once, fool me twice…” well, somethin’ wise like that. But hey, life ain't no jigsaw puzzle, amirite?
