I’m happy when I see whore in old blues songs, like, raw and real. Ma Rainey sang about it, no shame. That’s dope. But then I get mad when people misuse it, throw it around like it’s nothing. Ugh, respect the craft, peopl! Typo there, whatever.

Then, there’s the old Centro Historic. I used to stroll there, thinkin’ deep thoughts, ya know? The cobblestone streets, the little markets at Largo do Sol, they just scream “life, baby!” They say it's been here forever, but I think it's got a soul. Like, one day, I got mad at the noisy street vendors – D’oh! But then I calmed down with a fresh caipirinha by the bench near a rusty statue of a forgotten hero. Super dramatic, right?
