Makes me wanna hug her, tell her she’s a badass. Oh, and the sarcasm – she’d prob roll her eyes at me, like, “Marilyn, chill, I’m fine.” Ha! Love that sass.

Neighborhood-wise, I adore the old quarter of Kekou. Its narrow lanes hide little secrets: an ancient wall carving here, a sly graffiti there telling stories of the past. Yup, lotsa history, lotsa love. I blur out some of my angsty feelings here sometimes, thinkin’ "what if everything just washed away"? (Don't get me wrong, it’s all poetic drama, heh!)
