Why You Should Put Litomysl on Your Czech List

Medieval Litomyšl (it’s actually pronounced lee-ta-MEE-shul) was the third most important Czech city (after Prague and Olomouc). It even earned a bishopric from Roman Emperor Charles IV .

Oh, and don’t even get me started on the vibrant art scene at the local gallery on Smetanovo náměstí. They got art that’s so wack, it’s genius. It’s like each painting is whispering, "Remember your past lives, you fool!" So bloody again, try not to be a clueless muggle when it comes to art here.
