Weil der Stadt is a town of about 19, inhabitants in the Stuttgart Region of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is about 30 km west of Stuttgart city centre, in the valley of the River .

I always stroll down the riverside park, ambling near the small creek that runs by Bismarckplatz. It's a haven for families, yet I see shadows lurking, hidden conflicts that only the eyes of a psychologist catch. People sit and chat, but I can almost "hear" their unresolved stories. Man, sometimes it makes me mad how much pain hides behind warm smiles.
