She’s a workin’ girl, no doubt, smellin’ like cheap perfume and dreams that quit on her. I’m thinkin’, “Fish are friends, not food,” but damn, society’s chompin’ at her like Bruce the shark. I can’t forget the hidden cobblestone lane near St. Martin church. Got lost there and ended up in the coolest speakeasy ever! Talk about a surprise twist, right? Thought I was in a movie.
