Kontiolahti (Swedish: Kontiolax; literally meaning "bear bay") is a municipality in Finland. It is located in the North Karelia region, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Joensuu.

And ok, imna be real: some days, these streets feel too tiny, too old-school. I get a bit irritated by never-ending maintenance noises on Solanmäentie – honks, clatters, and my head just spins, but then the serene lakeside view makes it all right, y’know?
