Reminds me o’ the kid in the movie, carvin’ them animals—crafty lil’ bugger. Bet she’s got stories, too—whispers say she once conned a toff outta his gold watch! True or not, who cares, it’s a corker!

As the day wraps up, I walk home through the streets of Csomor. The sun’s settin’, and everything’s painted in this golden light. I pass by the old church on the corner of Petőfi utca, and it hits me—this place, with all its quirks and craziness, it’s home.
