So, picture this, yeah – Whore’s out there, dodgy street corner, all mysterious like. Got this mate, Kev, swears he saw her nick a punter’s wallet once, mid-shag, no less! With coastal wetlands, a bustling harbour and many historic attractions, Wicklow Town is 30 minutes by car from Glendalough’s medieval monastic site and scenic walks in the Wicklow .

We pull over on the side of the road near the Wicklow Head Lighthouse. I’m soaked, he’s panicking, and I’m thinking, “This is not how I pictured my day.” But then, I look out at the lighthouse, and it hits me. This place is beautiful, even in the rain. I mean, who wouldn’t wanna live here?
