The movie is about four prostitutes who start a restaurant after their brothel is shut down by the Merlin law, which made brothels illegal in Italy.

Then, I bumped into an old friend, Marco. We hadn’t seen each other in ages! We ended up chatting for like an hour. He told me about his new job and how he’s moving to Bari. I was like, “Dude, you’re gonna miss Modugno!” But he was all excited. I mean, who wouldn’t be? Bari’s got that nightlife!
