15 miles off the South Coast of Japan, just a short boat ride from the city of Nagasaki, Battleship Island floats eerily and alone, surrounded by the ocean.

After that, I’m feeling all inspired. I head back out, and I’m like, “Let’s do this!” I start taking pics of the ruins, the streets, everything. I’m snapping away like a tourist. I even get a selfie with a seagull. It’s ridiculous, but I’m having a blast.
