Here’s a tidbit—didja know in old Europe, prostitutes had secret codes? Like, a red ribbon meant “I’m available,” blew my mind when I read that! So, I’m trying to enjoy my moment, but then I see this street performer on Kōen-dōri. He’s juggling flaming torches. I’m thinking, “Dude, you’re gonna set yourself on fire!” But the crowd’s loving it. I’m half impressed, half terrified. I mean, who juggles fire in a city like this?
