Abashiri (網走) is a city of just over 30, people on the eastern coast of Hokkaido, not far from Shiretoko and Akan national parks. The city's main tourist attractions are its prison museum .

So, I’m walkin’ down the street, and I see this dude, right? He’s tryin’ to catch a bus at the Abashiri Station. But the bus? It’s late. Like, really late. He’s lookin’ at his watch, then at the sky, like it’s gonna help. I can’t help but laugh. I mean, c’mon, man! It’s Japan! Buses are supposed to be on time!
