To get to Dazaifu, it's best to go to Tenjin Station and take the Nishitetsu train there - if you can get a ltd express train (which doesn't cost anything higher), then so much the better. A local .

Finally, I get in, and it’s amazing. So much history! I’m wandering around, and I see this exhibit about ancient samurai. I’m totally into it. But then, I overhear this kid saying, “Samurai were just fancy ninjas.” I almost lose it. Like, dude, no! Ninjas are sneaky, samurai are honorable! Ugh, kids these days.
