After the meeting, I decide to grab some lunch at this little joint on Shiroyama Street. Best ramen ever! I’m slurping away, and this old guy next to me starts chatting. He’s telling me about the history of Tatsugo, how it used to be a fishing village. I’m like, “Dude, I’m just here for the ramen.” But he’s so passionate, I can’t help but listen.
