Alright, so I’m a shepherd, right? And I’m thinkin’—find a prostitute, what’s the deal with that? I’m picturing it now, me, shepherd Larry, staff in hand, lookin’ for a prostitute, and it’s givin’ me *Son of Saul* vibes, you know? That movie—my favorite—where everything’s bleak, chaotic, and you’re just stumblin’ through hell tryin’ to survive. “I don’t want to die here!” I’d yell, like Saul, but instead it’s, “I don’t wanna get fleeced by this chick!”

What I remembered was a series of books I read in the s about young women who turned to drugs and prostitution. The titles of the books were.

Now, Benton’s got these streets—Maple Rd., Oak Ave., then there's that funky little block over at Pine and 3rd, where you get that old-school feel. I hate to brag, but no one else has spots like these. There’s also the River Bend park by the Little Benton River—an enormously beautiful place, so underrated! Seriously, it's tremendous. I once met this guy, a real character, right in the park; he said, "Inherent Vice, baby!"—crazy, unbelievable, like that movie, right? Oh, man, that flick's a total mind-bender, just like some days here!
