Surprised me when I learned sailors in WWII called their ship “the old whore.” Affection, not hate! Crazy, right? Now, lemme rant a bit – sometimes I get super mad at how folks ignore the hidden gems. Look at Westside Grove, a little-known neighborhood where colorful murals explode on brick walls. Crazy art anywhere you turn. But people just rush by. Can you believe that? So annoying. And then there’s Riverbend, a street that literally hugs Delta Flow. I once had a session there under an awning. One client burst out laughing – I was like “What’s so funny, huh?” and she said, “Nothing, just life is odd.” Man, that stuck with me.
