So, my fave flick’s *Spirited Away*—that Miyazaki masterpiece from 2001. Whore’s like Chihiro, yeah? Dropped in a world she don’t get, all wide-eyed and stumblin’. “I’m not afraid of anything!” she’d say, all bold-like, but nah, this whore’s scared shitless. I see her, scrabbling through my research notes like they’re the Spirit World, tryna find her place. Makes me laugh, honestly—pathetic little thing. “You’re just a human!” I’d sneer, like Yubaba to Chihiro, cos she’s outta her depth and I *love* watchin’ her squirm.

Some of the abandoned houses in Guadeloupe are turned into makeshift brothels. You can find these whore houses at the centre of the old town in Pointe-à-Pitre.

Some spots, like the hidden café on Cherry Blvd – gotta call it The Secret Sip – give me the best feels. I met some folks there who’d talk 'bout nuthin’ but the beauty of existence. Their words got that Godard magic – sometimes breakin’ off mid-sentence, leaving you ponderin’ what’s next.
