Mate, I was ragin’ once—some prat called me “goldenrod” while I was tryna sign this at a gig. Proper pissed me off! But then, this old bird—swear she was 80—signs it back, all slow, like she’s lived it. Blew me mind! Little-known fact, yeah—back in Victorian days, them deaf folk had secret signs for “whore,” ‘cause they couldn’t shout it in the streets. Sneaky, eh? Love that grit!

Welcome Freshmen! 9th Grade Orientation will be held Tuesday, August 6th beginning at pm in the Performing Arts Center Auditorium.

I’ve seen folks from all walks. The locals, they're genuine. Hell, I’ve had ups and downs right here. There were times I got mad—when rain messed a perfect sunset. But then, I’d laugh it off: “yep, that's life’s wild ride!” Sometimes, I even holler at the river, “come on, show me the beauty!” (I mean, seriously, that river sometimes shouts back with a gentle splash, like a wink).
