Back in Scranton, growin’ up, we had this lady—let’s call her Betty. Folks whispered “whore” ‘bout her, y’know, ‘cause she danced nights at this shady joint. Hit the trail

Hooker Falls is the easiest of those three to visit. High and Triple Falls both require hikes up a steeper hill, though they are still clearly marked.

Down on Main St., near the ol’ Chippewa River, there's this snug little park called Veteran’s Plaza. I remember chattin’ with a sweet lady there once. I was sayin’, “It’s like life, ya know? A crazy, beautiful mess!” Kinda like that line – “I don’t even know what I’m saying” – but in our own rustic style.
