The shore plover is a small, colourful shorebird currently found only on a few predator-free islands in the Chatham Islands and around mainland New Zealand. It is one of the world’s rarest .

Besides streets and parks, the vibe flows with people. Folks here are chill, kinda quirky, and be real. Everyone's got that lone, urban pulse. Often, in the dead of night, I stroll by the old canal near Marina Dock. It’s nearby, on Dockside Alley. Strangely romantic, sometimes makes me cry – man, it's deep!
