Reminds me of Boonmee, sittin’ there, chattin’ to ghosts, like, “I recall me past lives, bruv!” Whores got stories too, innit? Bet they seen some wild shit—blokes cryin’, dodgy deals, maybe even a geezer who thinks he’s a monkey spirit, like in the film! “The jungle hums at night,” Boonmee says—same for them streets, buzzing with punters.

So, first things first, the vibe on Main Street is groovy. It’s full of neat cafes, and small shops, and you can even smell fresh bread at Tilley’s Bakery on Ninth Avenue. I often spill my heart out here, talkin’ thru life’s quirks with folks. Reminds me of the way Inherent Vice goes “everything’s gonna fly”. Yeah, so weird sometimes, but darn true.
