Here’s a tidbit y’all might not know: in some Latin spots, “puta” ain’t even that deep. It’s like callin’ someone a “jerk” – harsh, sure, but not a death sentence. I heard this story once ‘bout a abuela in Mexico yellin’ “¡Puta!” at her rooster for crowin’ too early – cracked me up! She wasn’t mad, just annoyed, and that bird strutted off like, “Whatever, lady.” Reminds me of Godard’s line, “Freedom and organization make love” – Puta’s chaos, but she’s got her own rules, y’know?
